Summary:
Primarily responsible for BIM coordination tasks on large capital engineering projects.
Would be responsible for overall management of the federated model and working with all parties including internal and external engineering entities to produce a fully coordinated design in accordance with the local codes, standards adherence, and factory data requirements.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Manages the design supplemental information (DSI) and document release (DR) process Ensures narrative of revisions is complete Distributes design updates to the subcontractors for change management Sets up workflows for RFI responses Sets up workflows for submittal reviews Reviews (initially) and forwards submittals that are required by the specifications for review Reviews (initially) and forwards RFI's from contractors to DOR Collaborates on the appropriate CA software platform Locates photos - needs organization Interacts with Construction Administration Team OTHER DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1.
Works within cross functional engineering and technical teams within the engineering department.
2.
Assists in the development/modification of department technical specifications and related CAD Libraries in the area of specialty.
3.
Creates internal on-site consultant approach to serve project team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Education:
-Associates degree or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering or construction management related field is preferred.
Experience (Years/Type):
-Minimum 2
years' experience in CAD management or related technical role (strong preference for candidates with industrial or manufacturing experience in food & beverage or CPG industry).
-Basic knowledge in using design software and programs (e.
g.
, REVIT, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant3D, AutoCAD MEP, Vault, BIM 360 DOCS, Navisworks) required.
-Eagerness to support staff with positive attitude, passion, and patience.
-Experience with multiple BIM/CAD roles.
-Experience building relationships and working with diverse stakeholders.
-Organized, detailed project planner capable of working independently as part of a team.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
-Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solvergets things moving and keeps them on track.
-Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple activities.
-Able to collaborate across large organization.
-Ability to be flexible and transition quickly between various assignments.
-Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
Minimal travel to St.
Louis required in first few months for training.
