We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Operations to lead and oversee the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of StandardAero's operational functions.
The Senior Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the overall success of our organization.
This leadership position requires a seasoned professional who can navigate complex challenges, drive cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to the achievement of our company's goals.
What you'll do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy aligned with StandardAero's objectives, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement Provide visionary leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a diverse team of operational managers Foster strong partnerships and collaboration with senior leaders, including Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, to align operational efforts and drive holistic business success Identify opportunities for cross-functional process optimization and lead initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness Analyze existing operational processes and identify areas of improvement, streamlining workflows, reducing bottlenecks, and enhancing productivity Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality output Regularly report on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership team Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative practices to drive operational excellence, evaluate/implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth Liaises with operation leaders to balance corporate manpower requirements and local resource shortages or surpluses.
Supports capacity planning and resource utilization reporting tools to assist the operations group in balancing resource requirements Part-take in continuous improvement project plans with operations to maximize the financial impact of projects with site benefits Reviews, prioritizes, and participates in functional support group projects to better meet corporate and site operations goals Exercises authority in hiring, training, career development, performance appraisal, salary adjustments, promotion, discipline, health & safety and the general employee relations of direct reports What skills you will use:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred Proven track record of at least 10-12 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role Proven experience in the aviation industry Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilities Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry is highly desirable Strong analytical skills with ability to use data to drive insights and decisions Benefits that make life better:

$61 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
