Summary:
This role, based entirely in Batavia, OH, presents an exciting opportunity for individuals experienced in construction within the food/CPG manufacturing sector. As part of our team, you will oversee HVAC/Boiler/Chiller contractor operations, ensuring adherence to the client's stringent quality and safety standards. You'll be instrumental in coordinating daily installation activities, conducting regular quality control inspections, and fostering a culture of safety, communication, and accountability on-site. Key
Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily installation activities with construction contractors Ensure completion of subcontractors' weekly quality control inspection reports Drive a culture of safety, communication, teamwork, and accountability Provide field support to mitigate risks and ensure Nestle's installation quality Evaluate various construction aspects including HVAC-BOILER-CHILLER, welding, reinforcing steel, etc. Review design vs. installation planning to avoid clashes Maintain critical path schedules and communicate program status Validate and perform redlines for final as-built documentation Act as a liaison with contractors, plant personnel, engineering teams, and vendor representatives Ensure the use of the latest drawings and handle discrepancy reports Conduct weekly job meetings and focus on punch list items Review construction and value engineering processes Education:
Preferably certified in PMP, PMI, GAC, CCM, CMCI, CMAA, or similar OHSA 30 certification CPR Training Fall Protection certification
Experience:
5-10 years of Construction Management experience Proven track record of managing projects in industrial manufacturing environments Strong preference for experience in food manufacturing construction Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office 365, including Teams and SharePoint, as well as BIM360 Steel toe shoes required (to be provided by the worker at their expense) What's in it for you?
