Plant Controller

Description The Cost Accountant/Plant Controller will own the financial controls and reporting for the Batavia Ohio production facility. They will work closely with plant leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial data is available to drive good business decisions. This position has no direct reports.   Key duties and responsibilities   Complete month-end close, submit accruals, and process journal entries Prepare weekly financial forecasts in prescribed format Manage vendor master data, approve purchases, and reconcile open purchase orders Analyze variances in materials and labor to identify cost savings Report daily costs for scrap, labor, freight, M&R, and operating supplies Validateinventory accuracy, establish standard costs, and modify BOMs Track tooling income and interface with corporate or customer representatives Support the quoting process to ensure adequate margins Auditprocesses to ensure SOX compliance and report findings Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Prepare the annual business plan and associated budgets Drive cost consciousness on cross-functional teams and lead cost-improvement projects Create and submit capital expenditure requests Champion plant-wide adoption of ERP system best practices including training new hires and facilitating a good data collection culture   Required Background   Minimum two years cost accounting or related experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Salary Range: $92K - $103K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
