Project Engineer

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to improve manufacturability for new product introduction using manufacturing and industrial engineering tools. This position will work closely with project managers, design engineering, and production to provide an optimized industrial solution by facilitating activities that implement and maintain processes to support manufacturability, safety, ergonomics, quality, delivery and cost reduction. Essential/Key Functions: Produce necessary deliverables to launch new product. Participate with Global Development Team on group deliverables and tools, design review. Interact with Manufacturing Engineers for input & feedback for layout & assembly sequence. Interact with Manufacturing Engineers during build phases. Forums - Need to work more closely with GDP Project leadership. Get involved with the different teams. Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities: Work as manufacturing engineering team member for new product development (GDP) project teams to insure quality product manufacturability at minimum cost Support new product development process (GDP) through virtual manufacturing process creating assembly sequence, manufacturing boms, work instructions, tooling, and initial line balance Support new product development teams by utilizing, Design Reviews, budgeting, capital, space and layouts for projects. Interact closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineers, and Production throughout different phases of project. Provide plant layouts, process flow layouts and value stream maps to improve productivity and provide for future requirements. Develop and implement long range planning to determine future production and personnel requirements. This includes future capital equipment and replacement capital equipment requirements. Select optimum capital equipment; then justify and oversee purchase, installation, and start-up. Improve safety and reduce environmental hazards in all endeavours.  Position Requirements Minimum (Required) Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering/Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience. Five or more years' experience with manufacturing processes in an equipment industry. Must be able to manipulate CAD models (CATIA or Pro-E), and use CAD Model Viewers such as 3DVIA or Creo View Computer skills in word processing, spread sheet, and CAD software. Good communications skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of personnel and disciplines. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
