Job Summary: This role will manage North America assigned commodity categories to establish and implement short and long termstrategies for continued cost reduction and value improvement. The person will be responsible for negotiating all major contracts and agreements within the category and delivering best value to Milacron. Key Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks: Cost mgmt. strategies involving negotiating the lowest total cost of ownership for categories Seeks opportunities to leverage spend and volume and reduce future price increase risk Identifies and develops strategic preferred suppliers through improving value, quality, delivery performance, and technology solutions Acts as a project manager of both ad hoc and ongoing functional initiatives Owns and develops sourcing processes using an organized and structured approach Reviews reporting data and develops conclusions and strategies for management Exercises leadership and influence across multiple groups in a matrix organization Assistance in developing the North American and Global sourcing teams Various aspects of system maintenance and special projects around sourcing process development Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with a sense of urgency. Ability to be detail-oriented with excellent prioritization and organization skills. Ability to establish cross functional relationships and partnerships through your product and process knowledge. Microsoft Office skills (Power Point and Excel is critical) Professional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Expertise in sourcing and supplier management of hydraulic and pneumatic products Knowledge and experience with sourcing and negotiating contracts with multi-year commodity and supplier strategies. Core skills must include contract negotiations, spend analysis and leadership through influence. Knowledge or certification in Lean or 6-Sigma concepts or equivalent Ability to work with financial work sheets concerning cost savings justification and COGS Preferred Qualifications: Engineering experience preferred CPIM or C.P.M /ISM certification preferred MBA in in Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent preferred. Experience in OEM machine manufacturing while not essential is a plus. Knowledge of E1 and or SAP is preferred. Work Environment: Office / Warehouse environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about facilities. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
